large tomato, diced

1 green chilli , seeded and finely chopped

1 small onion, thinly sliced

4 tbsp chopped fresh coriander

8 soft chapatis or naans

Procedure

1. In a large bowl, add the curry paste and yoghurt. Mix them well. 

2. Add the chicken and seasoning, and stir them together really well. Cover the mixture and let it marinate for 30 minutes at room temperature. This will give the spices enough time to be absorbed by the chicken. You can also do the previous night and allow it to marinate in the refrigerator. 

3. Prepare the salad before you begin with the preparation for the kebabs. Mix the cut cucumber, tomatoes, chilli, onion, and coriander for the salad. You can season it to your preference. Cover it, so it stays fresh until you’re ready to serve it with the meal. 

4. Preheat the grill or barbecue until it is at an optimal cooking temperature. 

5. Put the chicken mixture evenly onto 8 metal or wooden skewers. Grill or barbecue the kebabs for 8-10 minutes; make sure to rotate them frequently.
